Troubleshooting

Not Receiving Emails

If emails sent to your address aren't arriving, work through these checks in order.

1. Check Your MX Records

MX records tell senders where to deliver email for your domain. If they're wrong or missing, mail won't arrive.

Use a free tool like MXToolbox to look up your domain's MX records. Compare them to the values in your Branded Inbox welcome email. If they don't match, log in to your domain registrar and correct them.

2. Check Spam/Junk Folder

Some messages may be delivered but filtered into your spam folder. Check there first, and mark legitimate messages as "Not Spam" to train the filter.

3. Verify DNS Propagation

If you recently updated your MX records, they may not have propagated yet. DNS changes can take up to 24 hours globally. Use DNS Checker to see propagation status across regions.

4. Check Mailbox Storage

If your mailbox is full, new messages will bounce. Log in to your control panel and check storage usage. Delete old emails or upgrade your plan to add capacity.

5. Test with a Known Sender

Ask someone to send a test email and have them check for a bounce-back message (non-delivery report). The bounce message will contain diagnostic information about why delivery failed.

Still Not Working?

Open a support ticket with the sending address, recipient address, and approximate time of the test email. We'll investigate from our end.
